Full length climbing skins from Asnes (made by Colltex) is produced in 100% Mohair improved speed and outstanding grip. This is a skin with less friction than a nylon skin, although at the expense of nylon’s durability.

It is possible to enhance this skin’s performance by waxing it. This skin is 45mm wide and 2100mm long and can be adapted to most Nordic backcountry skis.

Maintenance and storage of climbing skins:

To preserve your climbing skin’s properties, we recommend that you keep it clean, dry it after use, and regularly impregnate/ wax it. Store the climbing skin in the supplied bag somewhere cool and dark.
